Police say some suspects have also been arrested for arson and one for threatening a journalist. A total of 26 people were arrested for the riots. One of them is 48-year-old Johannes A. from Utrecht. The Public Prosecution Service sees him as the leader of the riots and he is suspected of arson, assault and sedition. The judge decided in May that he will remain in custody until his case is heard on August 12.
