The feat in the Equestrian World Championships: Henrik von Eckerman takes historic gold in jumping with the horse King Edward. It is Sweden’s first individual gold in the event. The team has been around the courses flawlessly throughout the championship, and they took the WC gold by a large margin to the silver medalist.

Even Jens Fredricson with his Markan Cosmopolit was close to making a completely faultless WC, but in the last round they incurred 13 faults and finished in tenth place.

Gold also in the team jumping

Last Friday, the Swedish team also won a WC gold in jumping – also by a good margin, as the competition was already decided after Sweden’s third (out of a total of four) team. The team consisted of Henrik von Eckerman – King Edward, Jens Fredricson – Markan Cosmopolit, Malin Baryard Johnsson – H&M Indiana and Peder Fredricson – H&M All In.
