Another photo from the British Royal House in windy weather

The tours around edited pictures from the British royal house continue. Several photo agencies have retracted the image that showed Princess Kate with her children, the first photo of the princess since she underwent surgery earlier this year, reports The Guardian.

“On closer inspection, it appears that the source has manipulated the image,” says a spokesperson at AP, according to The Guardian.

Princess Kate also admitted that she had edited the picture.

“Like many amateur photographers, it happens that I experiment with photo editing,” the princess wrote on Instagram.

Curious errors in photo of Queen Elizabeth

The image that has now become public is from August 2022, just weeks before the Queen died and was published in April last year. The photo is said to have been taken at Balmoral Castle and was posted on Princess Kate and Prince William’s account on X and Kate is listed as the photographer.

“Today, former majesty Queen Elizabeth would have turned 97,” the post on X says.

The picture shows the former Queen Elizabeth II together with ten of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The image has now been flagged by, among others, Getty Images, as it has been improved.

Reviews show that there are several errors in the image. There is a pattern on the Queen’s skirt that doesn’t match, dark shadows are visible behind Prince Louis and there is a small black spot on Prince George’s collar. Even Mia Tindall’s hair is said to be edited and the sofa is also missing buttons.

The British royal house has not yet commented on the possible inaccuracies in the image.
