Four men are sentenced to prison after the violent Easter riots in Örebro this spring. All persons are sentenced to between two and six years in prison for gross sabotage of blue light activities. One of the men is also convicted of violence against an official. The prosecutor demanded that one of the men be deported – which was rejected. The four men must also pay damages to a police officer.
The background to the riots was right-wing extremist Rasmus Paludan’s planned Koran burning in Örebro and several other cities around Sweden.
Four men have previously been convicted of gross sabotage against blue light activities in connection with the Easter riots. The men received between four and five and a half years in prison.
