Polish news agency PAP reported that Kaminski made the statement at a press conference at the Belarusian border today.
“NO RUSSIAN CAR WILL ENTER”
Kaminski stated that passenger vehicles with Russian license plates will be banned from entering Poland as of midnight tonight and said, “Russian trucks were already within the scope of this ban. Now we are closing this issue. No Russian cars will be able to enter Poland.” he said.
It was noted that the ban will apply to all vehicles, both commercial and private, regardless of whether the vehicle owner is a Russian citizen or a citizen of another country.
Following Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Finland also banned vehicles with Russian license plates from entering the country yesterday.
