The arrest, which is said to have taken place in Málaga, is the latest in a series of detentions after the crime. Two days ago, the Belgian public prosecutor’s office announced that a person had been arrested and would be questioned about the weapon used in the attack.
Earlier, two more men were detained and formally charged in Paris, suspected of links to Brussels terrorist Abdesalem Lassoued. The charges against the two men relate to terrorist conspiracy and are based on information French prosecutors have received from the Belgian judiciary.
Abdesalem Lassoued was shot dead by Belgian police after the terrorist attack in connection with the international match between Belgium and Sweden in Brussels.
