An anonymous person has donated 17 million Danish kroner to nine chimpanzees at Copenhagen Zoo.
The money will be used for a long-awaited outdoor facility. The hope is that the chimpanzees will be able to move more freely also outdoors, Copenhagen Zoo writes in a press release.
“The drawings have been ready in a box and now we can celebrate that the financial part of the project is in place,” says the company’s CEO Mads Bertelsen in the press release.
