With the arrival of summer, the events that took the place of the E4 Fair started to take the stage one by one. After last night’s Summer Game Fest, today Xbox Games Showcase 2024 happened. Along with many new game announcements, videos of previously announced games were also published at the event.
All Xbox Games Showcase 2024 Announcements

Many of the Games Are Coming to Game Pass from Day One
Microsoft didn’t just show off the games at the event. It also announced that many of them will be coming to Game Pass on day one. One of the most important parts of the broadcast went to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The new first-person shooter game headlined the show, and there was also a special Direct episode that aired after the primary Xbox Showcase ended. Phil Spencer announced that Activision will release the game on October 25, 2024.
The majority of the games featured in this stream came from Xbox Game Studios and other companies such as Microsoft-acquired Bethesda and Activision Blizzard. However, several games from Japanese publishers were also featured. One of these was Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta, but the company did not announce a release window for this game. Square Enix also introduced Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, which will be released in late October 2024.
