Annimari Korte had to suspend the finals of the quick fences at the Athletics GP evening in Espoo. Korte stopped running after seven fences and left the track looking a little painful.

See Card status in the final competition:

Korte, who holds the Finnish record of one hundred meters (12.72), said that there was a little pain in the leg. He ran 13.25 in the first round.

– It’s been a couple of months like this, it’s just cheating. However, there have been some really good workouts, so I expected to run hard. Right from the start, I noticed that none was working. I don’t know what’s in it, Korte repeated.

According to the card, his speed, strength and explosive properties are at a good level at the moment. However, it has come at the expense of technology.

According to the card, there is too little time left for the actual fencing exercises.

– I’ve had four good workouts all spring. That’s a little bit. There are usually maybe a hundred good workouts, Korte said with a little laugh.

The Finnish athletics summer will continue next Tuesday in Turku with the Paavo Nurmi Games, which will be seen on ‘s channels.

Korte is not yet sure if he is on the line in Turku. The quick hunter wonders if he will focus on training this batch and will not bet on the race properly until August.

He is glad that in the wake of last year’s operation, the pain in his hind legs is gone.

– I know I’m in record condition if I can get the technology to work. There is still quite a lot of work to be done with it.

The live broadcast of the Paavo Nurmi Games will be seen next Tuesday on TV2 and Areena from 6 p.m. The broadcast will begin at 6:45 p.m.
