The sad news fell yesterday Sunday and we relayed it on our social networks: Annie Wersching, actress who we know for her role as Tess in the video game The Last of Us, but also Renée Walker in the series 24 hours Chrono, died at the age of 45 following a cancer with which she had been battling for several years. Married to actor Stephen Full for many years, Annie Wersching leaves behind three children aged 12, 9 and 4 years old. His death provoked strong emotions on social networks, in particular from his former colleagues who participated in the filming of The Last of Us. Troy Baker of course, who remembers with tenderness and emotion the pleasures shared on the set of filming in 2011, but also Jeil Druckmann who remembers her as a beautiful person. His death obviously has a very special echo, since the series The Last of Us from HBO is currently broadcast, especially since his death was announced the day after the death of his character in the series, played by Ana Torv.
Just found out my dear friend, Annie Wersching, passed away. We just lost a beautiful artist and human being. My heart is shattered. Thoughts are with her loved ones.
There’s a go fund me set up for her family: https://t.co/dhvk6uOvZV

Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you are grateful for the simple gift of knowing them.
Annie, so much of Tess is what you imbued into the character. Your strength is her strength and in some way, you live on in not only her but the many roles you brought to life. pic.twitter.com/8jJLiRTazd—Troy Baker (@TroyBakerVA) January 29, 2023
