The World Dwarf Games – World Games for Short People – are an international competition for athletes who are smaller than average due to medical reasons. Little people can play sports at an international level thanks to these games. Every four years, the games are held at locations around the world.
It is the world’s largest sporting event for people under 1.50 meters who are short for medical reasons. The eighth edition started on July 28 and will run until August 5, 2023 at the Deutsche Sport Hochschule in Cologne. More than 500 athletes from more than 20 countries of all ages and abilities participate in a variety of team sports and individual sports.
