Anna Sofia has worked as a sign language teacher in Härnösand and came into contact with the deaf refugees through her job at the Sambiblioteket, where she worked translating the municipality’s website. Lack of communication has been the biggest difficulty for the war refugees, but with the help and support of Anna Sofia, they have been brought together with interpreters who know Ukrainian sign language.
