Anna Kinberg Batra in tears They want to whip me

The 3rd of October was forced Anna Kinberg Batra together with his family leave the Ticino Palace after losing his job as governor. In his professional role, Kinberg Batra had violated the Swedish constitution by, among other things, hiring people who did not fit the conditions and acting recklessly by hiring his godson.

Shortly after she was fired, the series “First lady” premiered, directed by none other than the husband David Batra. The series’ focus is also on Batra’s role as the husband of Sweden’s governor.

The viewers about “First lady”: “Deeply distasteful”

At the Review Board, they have had to deal with several cases involving upset viewers.

“I think it is deeply distasteful that Sweden’s Television is making a comedy out of Sweden’s biggest political corruption scandal. It is distasteful, unethical and downright disgusting in my eyes,” writes a viewer in a report.

“SVT has broadcast a program in which Anna Kinberg Batra, who has been involved in several cases of constitutional violations, is portrayed as being exposed to a media drive instead of being scrutinized as a person in power by, among other things, the JO,” writes another.

Batra tries to console with the words “that’s the price you have to pay for living in a democracy”.
