The Swedish ladies have made a big impression in cross-country this season.
Not least Frida Karlsson – who took home the overall victory in the Tour de Ski.
– It impresses me very much. Frida’s attitude is straight through professional, says icon Anna Jönsson Haag in an interview with Sportbibeln.
On the women’s side, the Swedish cross-country skiers have impressed so far this season, and the fine results have been lined up. Perhaps the most impressive thing is the superstar Frida Karlsson stood for, after she took home the overall victory in the Tour de Ski.
The tribute to Frida
The Olympic gold medalist and icon Anna Jönsson The Hague is hugely impressed with the ladies’ performances so far.

And that Frida Karlsson’s efforts in particular have influenced Anna Jönsson Haag is clear.
– Yes, but God. Frida has really gotten out what she has been missing, she has had a bit of a pole out and hasn’t really had to show what she is really capable of. So this victory in the Tour de Ski, it’s just… We all knew she had that capacity, but then it’s about getting it out as well. It was incredible, incredible fun to see her win.

“Incredibly spoiled”
Jönsson Haag continues to post the text about Frida Karlsson, with whom she had the honor of participating in a television recording. It was about the competition program “Landskampen”, or “Sweden against Norway” as it is also called.
– I was with Frida for a couple of weeks during that TV recording and then I got to know her a little better. I left there even more impressed by her attitude and attitude towards her sportsmanship. How she chose her path to walk, it speaks to the new generation that they don’t care what others think and think. It impresses me very much. Frida’s attitude is straight through professional.

Anna Jönsson Haag also takes the opportunity to pay tribute to the Swedish national team in general, where several of the skaters came forward today and joined the team in the same vein that Jönsson Haag was about to end his career as an elite skater.
– It was Stina Nilsson, Jonna Sundling on that, then Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson. Now I will only mention a few of them, we also have them Anna Dyvik and Maja Dahlqvist. We have been incredibly spoiled to produce such talented girls. Everyone that we have in the national team now has something that allows them to stand at the top of the podium. And even though they are different as individuals, they are incredibly talented athletes. None of them leave anything to chance, Anna Jönsson Haag concludes the interview.
