About 80 animals were taken into care after an inspection at a farmer in Östergötland.
When the county board’s animal welfare inspector made an unannounced inspection, several animals were found dead lying in their barn and the cattle that were alive received neither food nor water, reports P4 Östergötland.
Inside the building, there were feed tables that some of the animals could not reach and several other deficiencies could be noted, which led to a decision to immediately dispose of all approximately 80 animals.
