The Utrecht city council has put a stop to a number of cutbacks that the board of mayor and aldermen had proposed in the Spring Memorandum. The municipality has been hit hard by, among other things, a reduction in the financial contribution from the government. In the Spring Memorandum, the board wanted to cut back on amateur art, among other things. The council has now put a stop to that.
