CAN BE SPREAD FROM CLOSE CONTACT
This has been supported by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), but it’s quite an unusual event. The CDC wrote: “Rarely, Capnocytophaga germs can be spread to humans through bites, scratches, or close contact from a dog or cat, causing illness, including sepsis.
