The avian flu pandemic has been going on for over a year. It looks like the biggest outbreak ever. The virus has now also reached North and South America. In the Netherlands, the virus is often found in poultry farms, but also in wild birds. That means more work pressure for animal ambulances, which often run on volunteers.
