Anima first half profit rises to 632 million Positive July funding

(Finance) – The Group’s pre-tax profit Soul reached, as at 30 June 2023, 94.5 million euros (up 2% compared to 92.9 million euros for 1H22), while theNet income it stood at 63.2 million euros (up 6% compared to 59.4 million euros in 1H22).

L’normalized net profit (which does not take into account extraordinary and/or non-monetary costs or revenues including the amortization of intangibles with a finite useful life) amounted to 78.8 million euros (stable compared to 78.6 million euros in 1H22 ).

There net collection in the first semester for the year it was negative by 0.2 billion euro; total assets under management at the end of June 2023 amounted to approximately €185 billion.

There net financial position as at 30 June 2023 was negative by 64.4 million euros (compared to -60.9 million euros at the end of 2022) and reflects, in particular, the distribution of dividends of over 71 million euros in May and the early repayment of the bank debt in June for 82 million euros.

Another quarter of great solidity for the ANIMA Group which continues to generate significant cash flows and which during the period also decided to repay the bank debt in advance, without this affecting in any way the flexibility and responsiveness for possible M&A transactions, and without changing the custom of recent years in terms of generous returns for shareholders in the form of ordinary dividends and buybacks” – he commented Alessandro Melzi d’Eril, CEO of ANIMA Holding -. “The second part of the year opens with the entry into the perimeter of Castello SGR, a reality in the world of alternatives that lends itself well, thanks to its history and thanks to its management, to replicating the success of ANIMA, with a mix of organic growth and external lines, even in a sector characterized by a high fragmentation of operators”.

There net collection of managed savings of July 2023 was positive for 531 million euros; at the end of July, the total assets managed by the ANIMA Group amounted to approximately 190 billion euro. The figure includes the consolidation of assets under management of Castello SGR for 3.9 billion euro.
