Googlehas released the Beta 1.1 update for Android 14 Beta, which aims to fix numerous bugs found in the previous version. The company has confirmed that some bugs in Beta 1 will be released in the next scheduled for next month. Beta 2 determined that it was too annoying to wait for the update. That’s why Google has implemented this temporary fix to fix problems and make users’ experience smoother. Beta version 1.1 started.
While Android 14 isn’t expected to be released until later this year, Google is releasing these beta updates for developers and early adopters to test and provide feedback. It is making progress towards a stable release.
Users who sign up for the Android 14 Beta program will receive the patch as an OTA update shortly. Alternatively, they will be able to manually download the OTA files from Google’s website to install them on their device.
Google has listed some bugs fixed in this Beta 1.1 release. The list includes issues with system UI crashing when accessing wallpaper and style screen, issues with fingerprint unlocking, and mobile network not displaying in status bar. Additionally, the update SIM card or eSIM detection, activation and Smart Lock display on lock screen fixed the related issues.

- Fixed some issues that prevented the fingerprint lock from being used.

- Fixed an issue that prevented detection or activation of a SIM card or eSIM in some cases.
- Fixed an issue that caused the lock screen to display a message with an unresolved string placeholder when Smart Lock was enabled.
