Andrew Parsons was reappointed on Sunday, December 12 for a new four-year term, the second in a row, as President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Andrew Parsons was the only candidate. He won 156 votes out of 159 valid votes, or 98% of the vote. The Brazilian, 44, took over from Briton Sir Philip Craven in 2017, who decided to step down after a 16-year lease.
