The Walking Dead, the series, is over. But The Walking Dead, the franchise, is just getting started. The parent series has hardly said goodbye to the home screens when one awaits us whole series of spin-offs around Maggie, Negan and Daryl. Rick Grimes is also returning in a new series.
It was originally planned that The Walking Dead lead actor Andrew Lincoln would have his own film trilogy after he left the series. As is well known, nothing came of it. Instead, the plans were turned into a new seriesnamely The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne.
