“Not far from the village of Rivière-Brûlée, three teenagers, Judith, Abigail and Alexandre, go camping in the forest. It’s summer, they are looking forward to spending these three days in the open air away from their family. The first day is idyllic. In the evening, at the wake, they tell each other ghost stories and play at scaring each other.
But the next day, when they return from swimming in the river, they have the distinct impression that their belongings have been moved. They feel like a presence around them without really being able to identify its origin. Gradually, their fears come true in the most frightening way. And the exuberant nature turns hostile when their lives are at stake…” (Presentation of Rivages editions)
