Andreas Almgren’s new big success – broke a new Swedish record again in Stockholm

Andreas Almgren is in top form. Recently, the long-distance runner set a new Swedish record for 5,000 meters at the Stockholm stadium, before two weeks later Almgren was able to improve the record to 12.50.94 in the Diamond League in Oslo.

Expectations were therefore high for the 28-year-old when he competed in the 3,000 meters in the Diamond League at Stockholm’s stadium.

And Andreas Almgren also delivered on Sunday afternoon as he ran 7.34.28 to beat his own previous record of 7.37.05.

Almgren finished fourth in the race. The Norwegian Narve Gilje Nordås won in 7.33.49.
