Coach Adriaan Stolk, who himself played for years in the first of Voordaan, has done everything to prepare his team as well as possible for the European tournament. “We have started training more often, have played more practice matches and we trained through during the Christmas holidays. The former national coach of the Dutch Zaalhockey team (Marieke Dijkstra, Red) has also given a guest training,” says the coach. “We have trained about four to five times a week in recent weeks, outside the competitions.”
