Analysis: This is what your economy will look like in 2025

2024 was an eventful year for the economy.

After a strong rise in the spring, the stock market crashed at the end of the summer, which worried many small savers. However, it has recovered somewhat during the autumn.

Inflation below two percent

How Donald Trump’s victory in the American presidential election will affect the world economy and thus also Sweden remains to be seen.

At the same time, the Swedish krona remains weak against major currencies such as the dollar and euro. However, inflation has continued to fall and is now below two percent.

New rules and changed taxes

But now 2025 awaits. The new year means, among other things, changed taxes and new rules for ROT and RUT.

In the coming year, the key interest rate will also change in one direction or the other – which will affect interest rates and loan opportunities for millions of Swedes.
