The coalition called “Synergy of Action for Mali” is currently made up of 30 political parties and associations in Mali, resolutely in the opposition. Among the members of the alliance are supporters of Imam Mahmoud Dicko. One of its spokespersons, Youssouf Daba Diawara, explains the approach of these new political opponents of the junta:
“ It is clear today that the authorities who are there for the transition have shown their limits. This is why we decided to come together to form a new coalition and go to the Malians, telling them what is wrong and what needs to be done to change. the current situation prevailing in Mali. »
“ Synergy of action for Mali » is intended to be a grouping of parties and associations against violence as a mode of action. However, he says he is firmly attached to democratic principles. In principle, before the end of this week, the Alliance intends to officially have the end of the transition period.
Then and very quickly, the party wants to create a broader coalition by asking traditional political parties to come out of their torpor, in order to give voice to a return to constitutional order.
