An iconic hero from the Halo universe is coming to

Rainbow Six Siege players who are fans of Halo can expect a collaboration that will bring the iconic hero of the Halo universe to Ubisoft’s FPS game.

Ubisoft brings an icon from Xbox’s Halo games as an operator outfit to the tactical Tom Clancy FPS game Rainbow Six Siege. After a rough start in 2015, Rainbow Six Siege has been on track for several years and has established itself as a popular competitive shooter and a prominent place in Ubisoft’s FPS portfolio.

Rainbow Six Siege comes with a new cosmetic move

A popular game for nearly a decade, Rainbow Six Siege has become the platform for a wide range of operator outfits and packs. That’s why, like its competitor, Call of Duty, Siege is no stranger to fun collaborations with other popular titles while generally staying in the videogame world.

When Ubisoft’s own Splinter Cell hero, Sam Fisher, arrived in Siege, it caused controversy among fans over Ubisoft’s lack of actual Splinter Cell plans. In addition, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series also came to Rainbow Six Siege as the Master Assassin package.

A new costume is coming for the character of Sledge

Now, another game icon is coming to Rainbow Six Siege. Klobrille posted a video on Twitter featuring Halo’s Master Chief as an in-game Elite skin for Sledge. Chief wears the Halo Infinite Mjolnir armor, inspired by Halo 3. Sledge’s hammer in costume resembles a Gravity Hammer from the Halo universe. The video also shows an animation featuring Chief’s rope from Halo Infinite.

While it might be a little strange to see Master Chief waving a hammer, it makes sense for him to be a costume for Sledge. Because Sledge is actually the most recognizable face of Rainbow Six Siege. Just like Chief is the face of Halo. While the costume looks great, the hammer appears to run through a piece of armor on Chief’s shoulder. This could be a reason why the bundle has not yet been officially confirmed or announced by Rainbow Six. If that’s the case, they can also alleviate the traction issue by changing the suit to a different operator such as Smoke or Mute.
