Syrian National Army (SNA) General Ziyad Hacı Ubeyd announced that all preparations have been completed to end the presence of the terrorist organization PKK in northern Syria. Speaking to Türkiye Newspaper, Hacı Ubeyd said, “There is a great moral and de facto collapse in the ranks of the terrorist organization PKK-YPG. Our 25 thousand soldiers are stationed at the border points of the occupied areas such as Tabqa – Raqqa – Ayn Isa – Jarablus – Hafsa – Sirrin. 7-8 thousand terrorists escaped in the last 20 days. According to the reports we received, 75 terrorists of Arab origin who escaped from the PKK ranks in Raqqa alone were shot by the mountain squad. They are looting everything in Raqqa. “They carried many things such as wheat silos, hospital supplies, jewelers, electrical transformers to Qamishli via Tabka,” he said.

Stating that Ayn al-Arab, which the organization declared as the psychological capital, is their primary target, General Ubeyd said: “What is stopping us now is the USA’s insistence on an unarmed solution. But this situation cannot be sustained any longer. A ceasefire was requested twice and we complied with it. The terrorist organization violated it. Since they understand that they will no longer continue their armed existence, they are trying to gain concessions for an autonomous region without weapons and under the auspices of external powers. They want to resolve this process with Damascus. So far, the new administration has taken a clear stance. USA, Türkiye-backed SMO should not enter the PKK occupation zone. If he has to take over a power, he wants it to be the new administration in Damascus and HTS. Because PKK-YPG insistence will make them lose Damascus along with Ankara. DAESH lies are no longer usable. Türkiye made clear moves to take that trump card from the USA and its partners; made offers. To date, they have distributed nearly 20 thousand DAESH members to 15 prisons in the occupation zone. For 10 years, these terrorists have been kept as PKK’s insurance. However, the solution is simple; These terrorists will either be handed over to the justice system of the Syrian administration and tried, or they will be extradited to the country they belong to. “But they have been waiting for years for today,” he said.

“Our patience has really run out,” said General Ubeyd and continued:
“We absolutely reject efforts to integrate PKK members into the new army. They will surrender the lands they usurped. Terrorists, most of whom come from Iraq, Iran and Turkey, will either leave or be destroyed. “Those who are Syrians will also be tried according to the laws of the country and will be punished, if any.”
