An arms aid package of almost 175 million euros from Denmark to Ukraine | News in brief

Denmark promises arms aid to Ukraine for 1.3 billion Danish crowns, or almost 175 million euros.

The purpose is to ease the situation of Ukraine, which is suffering from a shortage of weapons, against Russia. The weapons and supplies are to be manufactured in Ukraine with Danish funding, the Danish Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

The financing comes from Denmark’s funds and Russia from assets frozen as a result of sanctions.
