During Sunday evening, an alarm was received by the police about an ongoing robbery at a grocery store in Ronneby and later an alarm came from a gas station nearby about the same.
When the police arrived at the grocery store, it turned out that two or more masked men had attempted to carry out an armed robbery with a weapon-like object. The robbers had threatened the shop staff and demanded cash. However, the perpetrators did not take anything and left the scene on a moped or motorcycle.
Eleven minutes later, an alarm came in about a robbery in progress at a nearby gas station. The perpetrators also threatened the store staff with weapon-like objects and took cash and cigarettes. They left the scene on a moped or motorcycle.
No one has been arrested, and according to the police, no one has been physically harmed.
