Norwegian state television NRK stated that the 4-seat NATO plane crashed while conducting the “Cold Response 2022” NATO exercise.
SEARCH CONTINUES IN THE REGION
Northern Norway Main Rescue Center (HRS) Press Spokesperson Jan Eskil Severinsen said that they continued their search in the region and they found that the plane with 4 people on board had crashed.
NO INFORMATION YET ON THE HEALTH CONDITION OF THE CREW
Stating that the search was difficult due to bad weather conditions in the region, Severinsen noted that they did not have any information about the health status of the crew.
AN AMERICAN NATO AIRCRAFT
Ole Christian Emaus, Head of Communications for the Norwegian Armed Forces, emphasized that they did not know the nationality of the people on board, adding that the plane was a NATO plane belonging to the United States. (AA)
