Ella Purnell played the leading role Lucy Maclean in the Fallout series. At the same time, she lent her voice Jinx in the Netflix series Arcane. But a body feature that connects her two characters becomes her greatest fear.
What connects Jinx and Lucy? Although the two figures come from a video game, there is another little thing in common between them. Both Jinx and Lucy are separated in the course of their life. At Lucy it is the index finger, at Jinx the middle finger.
But Ella Purnell seems to be worried. She is afraid that this body feature will become a trademark of her.
The following trailer gives an idea of what kind of performance Ella Purnell delivers in Fallout:

This finger is the curse of my life
What does she have about her finger? During an interview at IGN FanExpo (via YouTube), Purnell is asked whether she was afraid of being cast with missing fingers. And actually she answers:
That would really be one of the worst things that could happen to me.

She explains how annoying it was to get her finger painted every day. Because Lucy gets a dead finger sewn in the series, he probably had to be painted in the rotten, bluish color every day. She is annoyed that the finger is the curse of her life.
The index finger is the finger that she would use the most. She wouldn’t have thought that at all, probably because of the color. So she would have been considered wrong if she used her painted finger to eat.
What role did the finger play during the filming? The finger even had his own name and was lovingly baptized Poop Finger ”, in German Kackfinger. The makeup designer Mike Harvey came up with the idea of calling his finger that way.
The name spread so quickly that later everyone on the set described the body part as a POOP finger.
Lucy comes from a vault that was actually used for a social experiment. Depending on which vault you have stayed in, another attempt awaits you. A man was extremely lucky, because he landed in the Vault 69 – and the experiment is exactly as you think: Fallout has a “Vault 69” and she is as bad as you think
