An action hit with Sylvester Stallone, whose sequel is the worst film of his career

In 2013, the action giants Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger met there for the first time as leading actors. The film is available to buy and rent on Amazon. But while Part 1 was a real cinematic event, The successor Escape Plan 2: Hades developed into a catastrophe from Stallone’s point of view.

Escape plan revolves around prison expert Ray Breslin (Stallone), who is innocently interned in a prison of his own design. The supposedly escape-proof building also houses the prisoner Swan (Schwarzenegger), who wants to pave his way to freedom with Breslin.

To date, the Escape Plan series has three parts. After the first film, things went steeply downhill: Escape Plan 2: Hades received subpar reviews (via Rotten Tomatoes) and is hated by Stallone himself. “The “most horrible film I’ve ever had the misfortune of being in,” he commented on the sequel on Instagram.

Judging by his lyrics, Stallone was once again really proud of Part 3, Escape Plan 3 – The Extractors. Nevertheless, it has prevailed since its release in 2019 Radio silence in the outbreak franchise.
