Amersfoort – Footballer Bart Vriends will stay with Sparta Rotterdam. The 31-year-old defender from Amersfoort has extended his expiring contract by two years, with an option for another season. According to the club, Vriends considered moving to a foreign club, but opted for an extra period in Rotterdam. He has been playing there for Sparta since 2016.
