Most of the money goes to improvements for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport and shared transport. For example, the municipality is thinking of thousands of extra bicycle parking spaces at the central station and Amersfoort-Schothorst, but the money is also intended to tackle the Noordewierweg and the Nieuwe Poort, for example. An access road must be built for Vathorst-Bovenduist. The municipality says that these are existing mobility plans that were already on the wish list of the municipality.
