As of October 1, 2025, paid parking and parking permits will be introduced in and around the city center, such as Kruiskamp and the Vermeerkwartier. The Soesterkwartier follows six months later. Until 2027, almost the entire city will be added – in phases. In a number of northern neighborhoods, such as Vathorst, paid parking will not be introduced before 2035.
