Amersfoort – The municipality of Amersfoort transfers an amount of 160,000 euros to Giro555. That is one euro per inhabitant. With this decision, the municipality follows a large number of other Dutch cities, which made the same symbolic choice. “This natural disaster can hardly be compared to anything. That is why we have to let our hearts speak,” says Mayor Lucas Bolsius.
