With the Party for the Animals as the most important newcomer, GroenLinks and D66 as the biggest and a losing VVD, Amersfoort seems to be opting for more greenery and sustainability. “I am of course very happy with that,” says GroenLinks party leader Astrid Janssen. “Last time we went from three to six, then we really won the top prize.
