The municipality will enter into discussions with local residents, the Islamic community and other stakeholders. This concerns design, traffic situation and how the cemetery can best fit into the area.
Discussions are also being started with Stedin in connection with the high-voltage pylons at the location and with the province about, among other things, the cycle route that runs past the location.
The municipal council then has to take a number of steps: they must agree to the detailed proposal and the zoning plan. This contains, for example, the rules regarding buildings on the land.
