It’s always fun to hear what the Americans think.
Now the hockey fans away in the NHL have had to answer a very sensitive question.
Namely, which team in the SHL has the ugliest club badge.
The Swedish hockey season is over after a long winter and a spring of playoff hockey. Skellefteå AIK became this year’s champion team and golden heroes at the highest level, while Brynäs took the step back to the SHL again.

The clubs are already fully preparing for the upcoming season and it is hard work during the pre-season. At the same time, the NHL season is still underway and the Stanley Cup final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers is currently underway.

The NHL has always been popular with Swedish hockey lovers over the years and many in Sweden have their favorite teams in the world’s best hockey league. But you’re curious about what the Americans and Canadians think of our Swedish league, the SHL.
“It’s terrible”
Now we finally get the answer when the hockey fans in the USA will choose the very ugliest club badge in the SHL. It is the Swedish TikTok duo “Dooz & Nalle” who have visited an NHL game and displayed all the club badges for the SHL teams, see the video below.
– That one is horrible, really disgusting, says one of the Americans when he points out HV71.
– Is that even a club badge!?

In the end, it is precisely HV71 that receives by far the most votes when as many as 15 people point out that club mark. Seven people choose Timrå, which ends up second, and in shared third place comes Linköping and Skellefteå with six votes each, see the video below.
“That only two took Frölunda is a miracle”, writes one user in the comment field.
“It’s nice that HV can win something anyway,” writes another.
“Hahaha, I’m not surprised that HV is in first place,” writes a third.
