“His BIGGEST FAMILY WERE ALL THE EMPLOYEES OF THE AMERICAN HOSPITAL”
Describing his colleague, Doctor Erhan Bulutcu said, “His biggest family was really all the employees of the American Hospital. Sometimes we would get angry at each other. He would immediately come with tolerance and say let’s forgive this time. I have never met anyone so positive and loving towards people in my life. At the time of Ismail’s death, despite my sadness, I was actually extremely calm. We returned to the hospital as a group with our friends and gathered for preparation. The whole thing was like a joke. As we all do, when he faced the truth, he started to get very serious as the hours went by.
When he came to my office this morning, I realized once again that life on the management floor would not be easy. İsmail and I would arrive at the executive floor at the earliest, around 07:00 in the morning, five minutes apart. When we arrived, we could tell by our lights because there was no one there. Then her best friend, our nurse manager Burcu, would send us. Every morning, when Ismail saw the light, he would enter my room with his big body, open his arms, and say ‘good morning’ loudly, with a big smile on his face. It was like saying stage. “He would summarize the conditions of the hospitalized patients with his positive energy and perspective, and if he had time, he would tell with laughter anything to take from their social life,” he said.
“I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY”
Doctor İsmail Bozkurt’s brother, Nejat Bozkurt, said, “İsmail was very interested not only in his patients but also in us as his family. He would definitely ask if we had any problems. On behalf of my family, I would like to thank all of you for participating. “I’m glad to have you,” he said.

He was so close to his family and to all of us that he would have fun with everyone. We love him very much. We loved him very much. We never knew we would love it this much. We lost it. I am really sad. “My condolences to all of us,” he said.
