The AMD RX 9070 manages to leave the RTX 4070 Ti Super behind, even at low voltage.
AMD’s new generation graphics card RX 9070even in low voltage mode in the tests performed, it performs an impressive performance. Famous Overclock experts in the trials, despite the reduction of the voltage RX 9070’in 90 %of the performance and RTX 4070 Ti Super’i easily passed. AMD RX 9070 Performance Loss at Low Voltage Minimum
In the tests, the voltage of the RX 9070 was reduced to approximately 100 mV and reduced to 770-780 mV levels. In this case, the clock speed of the graphics card fell below 2.2 GHz, while the Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark test was obtained 50 FPS. This means a decrease of only 10 %compared to the 54 FPS performance of the card under the default settings. However, thanks to low voltage, energy consumption decreased by 30 %, which significantly increased energy efficiency per performance.
It was observed that a more aggressive Undervolting and the RX 9070 rose to 2.4 GHz levels, and even up to 2.95 GHz with a small power increase. In these trials, the card’s FPS value reached up to 60 and this performance increase was very close to the RX 9070 XT.
The test results reveal that the RX 9070 has left behind the RTX 4070 Ti Super even in low voltage mode. RTX 4070 Ti Super reached 46 FPS in the same Benchmark test, while the RX 9070 performed above this value. In addition, the RX 9070 consumed 200-220W in the default settings, while this value fell to 170W after UNDERVOLTING.
These results show that the AMD RX 9070 does not only offer high performance, but also stands out in terms of energy efficiency. With this flexibility offered by the card, users can both optimize performance and reduce energy consumption.
