AMD shipping reports shared on Twitter show that two expected new mobile GPUs, the RX 7700M and RX 7800M, are on the way. Reports point to unannounced “Cuarzo Verde” GPUs, which are thought to be powered by the Navi 32 chip. The “Cuarzo Verde” models, which are a specially developed version of the Navi 32 chip currently used in desktop cards for laptops, are expected to be called RX 7700M and RX 7800M.

While the RX 7700M may offer an attractive option for gaming computers in terms of price/performance, the RX 7800M is expected to provide high-level performance that can compete with the Nvidia RTX 4080. Although not yet officially confirmed by AMD, shipping reports indicate that the RX 7700M and 7800M will be unveiled at the CES 2024 event.
