What was going on between the two of them? Musk, who was “good-looking for a rocket engineer,” is said to have flown to Australia, where Amber Heard was filming Aquaman. According to Isaacson, he told her that she reminded him of Mercy, his favorite Overwatch hero.
The 52-year-old is not alone in this: the blonde healer is extremely popular with many fans.
Amber Heard then reportedly spent two months designing and commissioning a full-body costume for him to roleplay. A faithful replica of Mercy’s outfit includes the white suit, a gold halo headpiece and of course the glowing wings. The whole cosplay must have been quite complex.
No problem for the actress, who told Isaacson: “I guess you could call me a geek for someone who could also be called a hottie.”
Unfortunately, even the Mercy cosplay couldn’t save the relationship, which broke up shortly afterwards. According to Isaacson, among other things, a penchant for theatricality and unrest on both sides was said to be responsible for the separation. What could he possibly mean by that?
