Amber Ellis investigation turns to 6th Line home on

Six Nations of the Grand River Territory residents may notice an increased police presence this week at a home on 6th Line.

Six Nations Police will be assisting the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch as they continue to look into the disappearance of Amber Ellis.

Ellis was 33 years old when she was last seen near the end of February 2021 on Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.

She lived in Hagersville and had ties to Brantford, Norfolk County, Hamilton, and Cambridge areas.

Ellis was reported missing on March 8, 2021, by her mother.

On October 1, 2022, police said she “may have been the victim of foul play” and announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her disappearance.

Police said there is no threat to public safety during this week’s investigation, adding that no further information will be made available because the investigation is ongoing.
