In 2018, the multiverse opened up to us in Spider-Man: A New Universe a multitude of variations of the popular superhero who gathered around Miles Morales and supported him in his adventures. One of them was the grumpy one who disappeared from 1930s New York Spider-Man Noirwhich, narrated by Nicolas Cage, quickly became a fan favorite.
Last year, Amazon finally announced its own series project about the strange anti-hero, which was to be developed as a live-action format together with Sony for the streamer. Marvel fans quickly agreed on who should portray Spider-Man Noir in the series, but despite the buzzing rumor mill, they didn’t yet fully dare to hope for it. But now it was officially confirmed: Nicolas Cage becomes Spider-Man Noir for the series.
Fan dreams come true: Nicolas Cage becomes Spider-Man Noir for Amazon series
The Dream Scenario star previously told Collider in March of this year that there had been discussions regarding his return as Spider-Man Noir in the Amazon series. At that time, however, nothing was dry.
