Several months ago, Amazon announced numerous new cast members for The Rings of Power Season 2 and a replaced star in two stages. Now the great fantasy series has followed suit with other names that are anything but unknown. They will embody recurring Lord of the Rings roles, although it’s not yet known which characters that will be in the Season 2 fight against (or alongside) Sauron.

The Northern Irish Actor Ciaran Hinds was last nominated for a supporting actor Oscar for Belfast, but is probably best known for playing Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder’s Justice League or Albus Dumbledore’s brother Aberforth in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2. Now he also belongs to the fantasy world of The Lord of the Rings. For example, he would fit into the announced role of the Elvish shipbuilder Círdan.
