As Deadline reports, Amazon has one Tomb Raider series greenlit. Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be responsible for the project as screenwriter and producer. Waller-Bridge has already demonstrated her talent as an author on the Fleabag series and the film James Bond 007 – No Time to Die. She is very familiar with the adventure genre: last year she appeared in front of the camera alongside Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny.

The author’s plans for the Amazon series have existed for a long time. The series is intended to be part of a larger franchise expansion with additional films and video games.
