What is the Mr. and Mrs Smith series about and who plays the main roles?
In the original, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie play two contract killers who are employed by different agencies. They have no idea of their real job. They are eventually set on the same target, lose their camouflage and a marital spat begins, which is fought with sharp weapons. Whether the series will change the story is not yet known.
Donald Glover (Community and Atlanta) and Maya Erskine (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi) embody the married couple in the series remake Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Indiana Jones 5 star Phoebe Waller-Bridge was originally slated to play the female lead. However, the engagement fell apart.
When is the series coming to Amazon Prime?
There is no exact start date yet. In the short teaser the November 2023 specified as a period. So it will take a while and by then another, longer trailer will definitely appear.
